Throughout the 2024-2025 year, Wren Montgomery and Tom Lyon participated in the fellowship program at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS), furthering their work on greenwashing and interdisciplinary collaboration.
While partaking in the program, Wren and Tom convened a two-day workshop alongside sociologists Sarah Soule and Edward Walker and professor of management Brayden King. Over 40 scholars from domains throughout the social and behavioral sciences and adjacent fields were in attendance.
The goal of the workshop was to address the “backlash, burnout, and backsliding” apparent in climate action and to identify how a sustainable future might be achieved.
