Western prof looks at 'greenwashing' and how to spot it

“Popular tech giants, banks and airlines are among over 8,300 businesses around the world committed to net zero emissions under the United Nations' Race to Zero campaign. But one expert at Western University says their efforts may likely be insincere or exaggerated.

A report released by Western University's Ivey Business School in collaboration with University of Michigan highlights how large corporations "greenwash" their products or their brand. It looks at the role private business plays in sustainability and the dangers of misleading consumers.”
